Healthy Black Bean Veggie Dip

Wow! Black beans are great for you! The fact that they are delicious makes these little pebbles even more desirable! Based on all this goodness, I decided to come up with a black bean dip that I could dunk my veggies in as a snack.  The result was great!

In the recipe, I list 1 garlic clove – try to make it a small garlic clove, otherwise, the garlic flavor can be a bit overpowering.  Other than that, you will see that this recipe is super easy, and super yummy!



  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 15-ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1-2 Tbsp. water


1.)  Add all the ingredients, except the water, to a food processor.

2.) Process on high till completely combined. Add water to your desired consistency.

3.) Serve with veggies of your choice. This also makes a great dip for tortilla chips, but obviously veggies are better for you!
