During my morning devotional time today, while reflecting upon the highs and lows of the past several years, I came upon the realization/reminder that the one constant through all of it was God’s presence. I am not one of those people that likes change…in fact, I would go as far as to say I hate it. I know some people thrive on it, but I’m not one of those people. I’ll do it when I have to, but I don’t like it, so that reminder that He provides me with something that remains unchanged and always constant that I can lean into anytime I want to or need to gave me so much comfort and joy that I was brought to tears. His blessings and tender whispers surround us always…sometimes we just need to take an extra moment to look for them and hear them.
In a world that is constantly changing and uncertain, one thing always remains the same: God and His love for us. He is always holding us through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. He is always there, felt or not, He is always there holding us and loving us. There is no better feeling than when that realization sinks in. I invite you to join me in basking in His love today, and thanking Him for His continual presence, blessings, and comfort. Regardless of your circumstances, what is happening around you, the mistakes you make, your individual quirks, or what the world says about you, you are loved beyond comprehension by the One who holds the stars, Nothing can change that, and nothing can separate you from that loveโฆnothing.
~Romans 8:39 – Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
