This butternut squash and goat cheese sauce is so tasty, and you can slather it on just about any savory meal for a delicious and nutritious boost! In fact, this is the sauce that I use on my Noodle Free Lasagna Recipe! I’ve also used this to top chicken breast, steamed veggies, rice noodles, and even as a dip for some homemade crackers. BUTTERNUT SQUASH AND GOAT CHEESE SAUCE
Ingredients:
- 2 cups butternut squash puree – I use organic canned (BPA free lining, of course)
- 4 oz. soft goat cheese
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
Directions:
- Place all the ingredients for the sauce into a food processor and process on high until completely smooth.
2. Add the processed sauce to a sauce pan and heat over medium heat until warmed to your desired temperature.
