Butternut Squash and Goat Cheese Sauce

This butternut squash and goat cheese sauce is so tasty, and you can slather it on just about any savory meal for a delicious and nutritious boost! In fact, this is the sauce that I use on my Noodle Free Lasagna Recipe! I’ve also used this to top chicken breast, steamed veggies, rice noodles, and even as a dip for some homemade crackers. Regardless of what you enjoy it with, I promise that you WILL enjoy it! Furthermore, with butternut squash as its main ingredient, this sauce is full of all sorts of health benefits!

Let’s get to this recipe, which you will find to be SO easy to make!



  • 2 cups butternut squash puree – I use organic canned (BPA free lining, of course)
  • 4 oz. soft goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt


  1. Place all the ingredients for the sauce into a food processor and process on high until completely smooth.  

2. Add the processed sauce to a sauce pan and heat over medium heat until warmed to your desired temperature.
