Healthy Chocolate Almond Butter Bites

Oh. My. Gosh. These are the tastiest little things ever! Totally good for you, but they taste like they are totally bad for you – perfect! These are a lot like my trail mix energy bites (link here), but with a chocolate twist!

I made these the other day, and hubby wolfed down quite a few of them after he got home, and I gobbled up the rest of them after that – they go quick!  The recipe is quick and simple, and these are great to have in the fridge for a quick healthy snack!


Ingredients: makes 18-20 balls

  • 1 cup oats (I used gluten free, but you don’t have to)
  • 3 Tbsp. unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 Tbsp. Raw Cacoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • Pinch of stevia to taste


1.) In a mixing bowl, combine your dry ingredients (oats, coconut, raw cacao powder, and stevia)

2.) Add the Almond butter and honey.

3.) Stir to combine completely.

4.) Using your hands, roll into balls.  Place them on a plate, and put them in the refrigerator for 15 minutes minimum before serving.

These make for a perfect healthy snack that will satisfy your hunger!  Enjoy! 🙂
