All the ingredients for this sauce hold anti-inflammatory properties, and it is loaded with good-for-you veggies that provide a whole bunch of awesome health benefits. Some of these include the following:

  • Strongly anti-inflammatory
  • Antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties
  • Blood cleansing (thanks to the parsley)
  • Rich in antioxidants
  • Good for bone health
  • Anti-cancer
  • Heart healthy
  • Good for the eyes

There’s more, but I think you get the idea – this stuff is good for you! Not only is it good for you, but it is SO full of flavor, and that flavor is delicious! This goes well over veggies, meats, pasta, or any other savory food you can think of! I really like it over meatballs of any kind, but it goes especially well with lamb meatballs. Regardless, it makes for a super yummy and SUPER healthy sauce to compliment a plethora of dishes…plus, it’s EASY!

  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 diced onions
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp. Rosemary
  • 2/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 1/2 cups bone broth
  • 1/2 cup minced parsley leaves

1.) Heat up the olive oil in a skillet and sauté the onion for five minutes.
2.) Toss in the rosemary, the sea salt, and the garlic and stir.
3.) Add the diced celery and stir again.
4.) Add the broth, the pumpkin puree, and the parsley, and stir for an additional thirty seconds.

Wa-la! It’s good to go! Pour it over whatever you would like, use it to cook meatballs in, or even use it as a soup broth. Regardless of how you use it, enjoy! 😄
